The main focus of our R&D activities is the development of new formulations and use possibilities of photo-dynamic therapy. biolitec AG conducts continuous studies with the active agent Temoporfin, which has already been approved in oncology, as well as with other photo-sensitizers.
The following overview illustrates the development phases of individual substances.
In addition, biolitec AG is continuously developing new fibers and probes as well as new lasers to be used even more efficiently.
Especially, the development of lasers with new wavelengths and higher power is an important focus in order to enlarge the possibilities of application and provide an even better instrument to be handled out to doctors.
